A peacefull place in a dangerous environment. To escape the dangers of the jungle these native people decided to build there village in the middle of a river far out of reach of wild animals and aggressive neighbour tribes. Done in Cinema4d and Fusion. There is a 6sec animation of this but as there is not much going on in the animation (boats, fishing net, smoke and water is animated) I tought it's better if I put a higher resolution still image online. There also is a tutorial on the creation of this image. |

A scientific research station somewhere off-shore a rough and uninhabited island. Only to be reached by air. A big thanks to Scott Robertson who allowed me to use on of his sketches for this to be based on. |

I was working on the Rocket Snail for about 4 months on and off in my spare time. This was a testbed for new technologies like Sub-Poly-Displacement, Sub-Surface-Scattering or Ambient Occlusion. But of course there was also a lot of fun in making this. |

Modelling in Cinema4d, Shading and Rendering Softimage XSI / Darktree / mentalray, Compositin in Fusion5 This one is based on a sketch by Grant Regan. Thank you very much for letting me use it. |

Some kind of near future military base probably used for research and surveillance located in the european alps. I did this as a spare time project which took me nearly three months to complete. Rendered in layers and photoshoped together along with adjustments to color, saturation and contrast. This image is based on a sketch by Isaac Hannaford. Thanks to Isaac for letting me use it. |
